Terms of Service

Last updated 1 June 2026

These terms govern your use of Buzz. Please read them carefully — by using the Service you agree to them. We've tried to keep them clear and fair.

1. Acceptance of terms

By accessing or using Buzz (the "Service") — including our mobile app, desktop app and website — you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old to use Buzz. By using the Service you confirm that you meet this requirement and that the information you provide is accurate and kept up to date.

3. Your account

Buzz uses one account per person, signed in with a verified email and a one-time code rather than a password. A single account can hold multiple avatars — for example a personal avatar and one or more team avatars.

You're responsible for activity that happens under your account and for keeping access to your email secure. Tell us promptly if you believe your account has been accessed without your permission.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to use Buzz to:

  • Break the law, or send unlawful, harmful, harassing, hateful or infringing content.
  • Send spam, or distribute malware or other harmful code.
  • Impersonate others or misrepresent your affiliation with a person or organisation.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Service, other accounts, or our systems.
  • Reverse engineer, scrape, or use automated means to access the Service except through interfaces we provide.
  • Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service.

5. Your content

You own the content you create and share on Buzz. You grant us a limited licence to host, store, transmit, display and back up that content solely to operate and provide the Service to you and the people you communicate with. We don't claim ownership of your content and we don't use the content of your private messages for advertising.

You're responsible for the content you share and for having the rights to share it.

6. AI features

Buzz includes an AI assistant. It can be helpful, but it can also be wrong — AI output may be inaccurate or incomplete, and it is not professional, legal, medical or financial advice. You're responsible for reviewing AI output before relying on it. See our Privacy Policy for how the assistant processes your data.

7. Communities and teams

Buzz lets you create and join hubs within teams. If you join a team, the team's administrators may manage membership and content within that team's shared spaces. Your personal avatar and personal chats remain isolated from your team avatars.

8. Storage

Buzz provides cloud storage for files you share. We may apply reasonable storage limits and fair-use policies. You're responsible for maintaining your own copies of anything important — while we work hard to keep your data safe, the Service is not a substitute for your own backups.

9. Intellectual property

The Buzz platform, including its software, design, branding and trademarks, is owned by Buzz and protected by intellectual property laws. These terms don't grant you any rights in the platform other than the limited right to use the Service as intended. As set out above, you keep ownership of your own content.

10. Disclaimer of warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We don't warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free or completely secure.

11. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Buzz will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits or revenue, arising from your use of the Service. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law (such as liability for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by negligence).

12. Termination

You can stop using Buzz at any time and can delete your entire account via buzzmessaging.ai/delete-account. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these terms or if we need to for legal, security or operational reasons.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. When we make material changes we'll update the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the app. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated terms.

14. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and you agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales, except where mandatory consumer-protection laws of your country of residence provide otherwise.
